God Påske from Norway!

Hallo! Everyone in Norway has been getting ready for Easter these past couple of weeks! It is a really big holiday here. One of the things that has really surprised me is that all of their Easter decorations are chickens instead of bunnies. I guess there is no Easter bunny! We got Easter themed pass-a-long cards that we have been giving out since Friday and people have been responding really well to them. It is amazing to see how when we talk about Jesus Christ, how receptive people are. There are a lot of people here in Norway that already believe in Jesus Christ and it is amazing to talk to people about our shared beliefs. There are so many people out there that have received a part of the blessings of accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior, but can have so much more that Heavenly Father has in store for them through the gospel. I am so excited to continue to focus more on Jesus Christ this Easter and to also listen to the words of our living prophet this general conference. 

NYHET:

- I got my Norwegian Drivers Permit! They took away my United States Drivers license and my heart broke a little. My wallet looks so empty without it. 

- While street contacting, Søster Belus and I met one of our former investigators as well as someone that we had met previously and had the wrong number in our phone for. Although Ålesund is really small, and we see the same people every time, I know that it was inspired that we met them and were able to talk with them. We now have the right number for Erstien and an appointment. 

- Our district switched planners and decorated them for each other this past week. We wrapped them up and everything! It was just like Christmas! Elder Fowler decorated mine and went all out. Even writing the months in Hawiian!

-We gave some cookies to our neighbor for St. Patty's day a couple of weeks ago and this week we found an Easter gift from her outside of our door! It made my day!

I am sure that there was other things that happened, but I have to go because we are coloring eggs for Easter. Thanks Elder Fowler's mom for the dye kit!
