Søster Belus is 16 again!

Hallo alle sammen! This week was pretty crazy! I feel like we have been running around like chickens with their heads cut off for 7 days straight. Despite all of that, it has been amazing to see how Heavenly Father has still been guiding us to be where we need to be.
- On Monday we hiked up Gudøya all the way to the top. It wasn't that windy this time and the view was breathtaking!

- Tuesday, we were in Bergen for Zone conference. We talked a lot about studying and how we can improve our Personal, Companionship, and Språk study. I have really begun to realize how important it is to study the scriptures and to strive to build you my testimony everyday. I was reading another missionaries experience that he had with zone conference and something that he quoted really stuck out to me.  "It is more powerful to look somebody in the eyes and tell someone the Book of Mormon is true because you knew it was true that morning, not 2 years ago." Shout out to Elder Karony!

- On Friday we had our St. Patrick's Day Party with the Ålesund Gren! It was so much fun to see everyone and get to know them better! Auri came and really opened up. He is amazing! Fred even dyed his hair green! I got a St. Patrick's day package from my Grandma and so Søster Belus and I were very prepared with our matching green socks. When we went Banking on Saturday, we wished people a happy a happy St. Patrick's Day and it was great seeing them smile and laugh. I don't think they celebrate it very much here.

- Søster Belus got her Norwegian Drivers License! I had her take a jumping picture in front of the vegvessen. I am so proud of her! We also got a new car! It is a little bit bigger than our last one. It used to be the Senior missionary couple's in Trondheim and they left a microwave in the back seat to give to us. I don't know what we are going to do with it! Haha! The member that drove the car down spoke in sacrament meeting about his conversion story and also about a couple of the miracles that he has seen in his life. His story was incredible! He was associated with the church for years and asked God for an answer. A couple hours later missionaries knocked on his door. He opened the door and told them to come back. The missionaries came back the next day and he realized that was his answer. That taught me that it is so important to not only rely on the spirit to be guided to people that are prepared, but to also follow up with people. If the missionaries had never come back, it probably would have been harder for him to recognize his answer.
- Last night while banking, I felt prompted to drive somewhere and continue banking in a place where we haven't been having a lot of success. Right before we were about to go home, we banked on this house and gave this lady a book of mormon. She asked us where we were from and said that she had family in the USA. She told us their names and Søster Belus and I were shocked. Her brother is Søster Belus' great uncle. About a week ago, Søster Belus and I went to find this ladies dad that lives in Ålesund. He is 90 years old, wasn't home, and so we just left a note on the door and thought that would be the end of it. But then we meet his daughter a week later. The holy ghost is amazing!

That is about it for this week. I am so excited for conference! Lately I have been reading through the last general conference talks. I invite you to read "I have a work for thee" by John Pedigree Jr. . It is great and has really helped me out this past week. I love and miss you all! Ha en god uke!
