Life Lessons
This past week has been so great! On Tuesday and Wednesday, Søster Pond and I went to Oslo and went on splits with the STLs. Søster Sorenson and I had this amazing experience where we planned a block of 4 hours to go contacting and we prayerfully decided that we were going to have a lesson on the street at 1:30. We went out contacting over by the Palace and met a very nice man from England. We taught him the Plan of Salvation and also about Family History. His eyes lit up when we started talking about the importance of finding and learning about our ancestors. He told us all about how he had already been to one of the LDS church Family History centers in England. He didn't have a lot of time to meet with us in the future because his wife was sick and in the hospital, but he was very touched by our testimonies and he was very grateful when we said that we would pray for his wife. After teaching him, we looked at the time and it was 12:40.
We thought that maybe we had just taught our lesson early. Little did we know that the Lord was going to bless us with another lesson only three minutes later. We stopped a guy around our age that had his headphones in. We started talking to him in Norwegian only to find out that he was from California and was here in Norway to film a documentary in Trømso. He was very religious. He had even done a school project the year before about all the evidence that God exists. We taught him the entire Restoration and the last part of the Plan of Salvation. I was able to give him english pamphlets that went along with the lesson that I just happened to have in my backpack. I was also able to share with him the scripture in 1 Corithians 15 that talks about the three different kingdoms of glory. He pulled out his phone and marked those scriptures to read later. He said that he has always wanted the mormon missionaries to knock on his door and he said that it was very admirable for us to be out here. We told him how to find the missionaries back in California and he said that he would look into the church when he gets back home.

Those were just two of the many miracles that happened this week! I love being a missionary and being able to touch people's lives in the most important way! We also got a new investigator this week that isthe most positive investigator I ever met! His name is Markus and we had the most amazing lesson with him where the spirit was so strong. I am exctited to meet with him again.
Sorry that this email is so short. Fred, the Branch President, is taking us to Geiranger Fjord this morning! So excited!
Have a great week!
