Sunburned in Norway?!

This week has been filled with lots of bonking and street kontaking! It has been very warm here, around 80 degrees Ferenheit, and I have started burning! I can't complain though. It is so nice to not have to be bundled up in 5 layers of clothes anymore. We have three investigators right now, but they are all on vacation. There has been so many wonderful people that we have met because of that though!

- We met this family that was muslim and shared with them our message of the restored gospel. The dad was very interested that we believed that Jesus Christ is God's son. In the muslim religion, they believe that Jesus Christ was a prophet and every time that I bear my testimony that he is God's son and our Savior, it is usually pretty quickly rejected. But he listened and took a Book of Mormon. He also shared with us an amazing story about how his daughter was mute for the first 8 years of her life. They went to several doctors and medical experts and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. They then took her to one of their temples and prayed for her. She started speaking both samalisk and Norwegian. He talked about how his faith wasn't very concrete before, but how strong it is now because of that experience. He now knows that God is there and cares about him. That is one reason that God performs miracles. It is to bless us, but it is also to stand as a testament that he is really there. It was amazing to see how much this man's life was changed because of that experience and I know that what he has been through has prepared him to receive the gospel.

- We were able to help these three women carry pots and pans to their car. YES! Someone in Norway actually let us serve them! They immediately recognized us as missionaries and told us what they believed in. They come from a religion that believes that all religions are right and that Jesus Christ already came back in 1840. They are open to hear about we believe in and they invited us to a bible study that they have every thursday, so we will see how that goes. I will have to come prepared with my bible scriptures!

That is about all that I have time for this week. One thing that I read this week is that "doing better doesn't mean doing more" it was a message from the Relief Society Presidency that I was able to skim through. One recommendation was to ask Heavenly Father in morning prayer "what is one thing that you need me to do today". That way we are able to prioritize our lives on the things that God needs us to do. I have been doing that the last couple of days and I have felt the satisfaction that comes from knowing that I am doing God's will and being an instrument in his hands. I love you all! Have a great week!

Søster Morris and I were in Oslo to get her Visa renewed and we stopped at a bakery for lunch

Some yoga guy told me to live in a tree, so I did.
