Plutselig, DRAMMEN!

Hei Hei! This week was my first week in Drammen and it was the perfect start to the transfer! It was a little hard leaving Asker, but Søster Morris is still in my distrikt so we see each other quite often and we were just there with the Sandvika and Asker missionaries for P-day! The Drammen ward here is amazing and I have already met so many of the faithful and hard-working members! I don't have a whole lot of time this week ( typisk, jeg vet) so let's get right to it!
This past Wednesday was moves day and Søster Whetten and I talked to someone in our neighborhood as we were walking home. His name is Thomas and he didn't answer our initial question of "what makes you happy" and instead asked us where we came from and said that his sons were traveling to USA in a couple of days. We talked to him about what we were doing as missionaries and gave him a book of mormon. He said that he has always seen the missionaries walking past his house, but he has never talked to them before. I guess now he might be ready! We should be meeting with him on Thursday this week! So Excited!
On Thursday we talked to a lady from cosovo while walking up a hill to a members house. She has lived in Norway for 14 years and said that we could meet with her sometime to talk about the gospel. Sorry, totally running out of time, but it is just so amazing how many people that we have met that are so positive these last couple of days!

We had two lessons this past week and with both of them the spirit was so strong. One was with Saied and his family from Syria. He talked about how he prayed to God so much when he first came to Norway because it was so hard and how all of these people around him helped and supported him. We bore witness that Heavenly Father often answers our prayers through other people. I am so thankful for the people in my life that have often been answers to my prayers whether it be in my family, ward, or church leaders. I am especially grateful that Heavenly Father calls prophets and other church leaders to give us the inspiration and direction that we need. I was able to receive many spiritual promptings as we went to Stake Conference this past weekend.

I love you all so very much and I hope that you are all having a wonderful sommer!
Vi snakkes neste uke!
Klem, Søster Starkie
