The adventures of Asker continue

Last week might have started a series of really short emails, because as chances would have it, I have not so great time! That could pretty much be the motto of all of my P-days now.

Since last week life has been a whirlwind of craziness and I keep on getting flashbacks to when I went into the MTC, said goodbye to my family, and all of the sudden I was both super busy and was trying to drink from a fire hose of information. The transition here to Asker has been a little bit of the same. On Tuesday and Wednesday I said good-bye to my "Family" in Tromsø ( Lill was so cute and came to the Airport to say goodbye) and boarded a plane for Oslo. Then I met Søster Zenger, she took me to Asker and right to Ward Counsel and Young Womens and ever since that things have been one thing after another. It has been so amazing to be so busy!
Some of the highlights:

- We taught the Law of Chastity at a kafe. (First time for everything)

- We went to a house because we recieved a refferal there and the person that we were supposed to give a mormons bok to had no idea why we were there. It wasn't him that asked for it. It turned out that his friends reffered him as a prank through lds.org. He still took the book though so maybe something will come out of it.

- We had a leadership meeting with President and the other Zone leaders and Sister Training Leaders. I had heard rumors before that they dicuss secrets there, but it was actually quite normal. It mostly just made me really excited for missionary work and to see and hear about all of the things that are going on. It also humbled me a lot that President Tew would chose me to be a leader in this mission. This mission has such amazing missionaries and it was so inspiring and uplifting to hear their thoughts and experiences.

That's about all that I have time for today. Have a great week and remember to keep on doing those small and simple things in life to stay spiritually prepared for what Heavenly Father has in store for you. There is a great talk about that called Spiritual preparedness start early and be steady by Henry B. Eyering.
Love you!
Love, Søster Starkie
